Patna: Sainik School Nalanda recorded a 100% pass rate in the CBSE Class X examinations for the 2025-26 session, maintaining its strong academic record. Media-in-charge Brajesh Kumar Mishra said, “Of the 80 cadets who appeared for the examination, 50 secured above 90%, reflecting the institution’s disciplined academic environment.”Utkarsh Raj topped with 97.80%, followed by Sanaya (97.40%) and Shivam Kumar (97.00%). Adarsh Aryan and Shiv Shankar jointly secured fourth position with 96.80%, while Nishant Kumar stood fifth with 96.20%.Principal Col Bhupender Kumar said the results reflect “consistent effort, academic rigour and holistic training.” Established in 2003, the school has built a reputation for academic excellence and defence-oriented training, consistently performing well in board results and competitive examinations.Students honoured: A ‘Student Honour Ceremony’ was held on Thursday at Rajkiya Uchch Madhyamik Vidyalaya, Gardanibagh, celebrating the academic achievements of students. Director general-cum-chief vigilance commissioner Deepak Kumar Singh attended as chief guest and was welcomed with a sapling, memento and shawl.The programme began with lamp lighting and Saraswati Vandana. Officiating principal Girijesh Kumar highlighted the school’s academic progress and students’ performance, while meritorious students from Matric, Intermediate, Class IX and Class XI were felicitated with certificates, medals and mementoes. Principal Sunanda Prabha encouraged students to remain disciplined, set clear goals and focus on continuous study for future success.B D College: A seminar on women’s empowerment and the Nari Shakti Vandan Act, 2023, was held at B D College. Principal Ratna Amrit said, “Women’s power is the real energy of society,” adding when women progress, the nation moves forward.Runa Anand said the Act would raise women’s representation in the Lok Sabha, while Swarna Kumar highlighted the need for inclusiveness for women from all sections. Students also participated actively in the discussion.
