Jalandhar: Shiromani Akali Dal (Punar Surjit) has requested the five-member committee, formed by the Akal Takht on Dec 2, 2024, to provide the complete records of its recent membership enrolment drive. In a communique to the panel, party office secretary Jagjit Singh Kohli said the party office lacks these records, which is hindering efforts to connect with cadres. The letter pointed out a resolution passed during the Feb 17 working committee meeting, which directed that all membership data be submitted to the central office. The party has requested that the five members submit the records by March 25.
