T’puram: CPM leader and former Travancore Devaswom Board (TDB) president A Padmakumar, who has been in remand for 90 days, was granted statutory bail in the Sabarimala gold heist case on Wednesday.The Kollam vigilance court granted Padmakumar bail in the dwarapalaka sculpture case. He was granted bail previously in the kattilapali case. The bail application filed in the dwarapalaka case highlighted the special investigation team’s failure to submit a chargesheet in 90 days.Seven accused in the case have already secured bail. Statutory bail has been granted to first accused Unnikrishnan Potti, former administrative officer Murari Babu, former TDB president and devaswom commissioner N Vasu, and former executive officers D Sudheesh Kumar and S Sreekumar. The court also granted bail to tanthri Kandararu Rajeevaru and former thiruvabharanam commissioner K S Baiju.
