Nagpur: Two men from Wardha have been accused of allegedly duping 22 customers of ₹7 lakh by promising electric scooters at discounted rates.The accused, Ganesh Panjwani, 46, and Anil Valecha, 48, both residents of Wardha, run a shop selling electric scooters at Ramdaspeth, within Bajaj Nagar police station limits. Complainant Bholeshankar Kasturi, 55, a resident of Quetta Colony, approached them to buy an electric scooter. The duo allegedly lured customers by offering bikes in the name of students at cheaper prices. Between Jan 10 and March 17 last year, they collected booking amounts from 22 victims but fled without delivering scooters.On the basis of the complaint and preliminary investigation, a case has been registered under BNS.
