Jaipur: Rotarian Lal Goyal, founder and charter president, Rotary Club of Organ Donation International (RCODI), and chairman, Organ Donation India Foundation and GYAN, held a strategic brainstorming meeting on June 25, 2026, at the Jaipur Marriott Hotel, Jaipur, to accelerate the organ donation warriors programme.The meeting was attended by two inspiring athletes and organ donation awareness leaders, both kidney transplant recipients themselves – Rotarian Harsh Vardhan Singh, who will serve as Avenue Chair (Organ Donation) for the year 2026-27 in Rotary International District 3056, and Rotarian Dr Girivar Sharan Sharma, Orthopedic Surgeon and Chairman, Transplant Games, RID 3056.Rotarian Vijay Rajoria (President-Elect), Rotarian Sarita Rajoria, Rotarian Harlal Verma, and Rotarian Lalit Sharma (Rotary Club Jaipur Royal). After detailed deliberations, the participants recommended the following initiatives, subject to the approval of the respective clubs’ boards:Signing a sister club agreement between Rotary Club of Organ Donation International and Rotary Club Jaipur Royal.Jointly promoting the organ donation warriors programme in Rotary District 3056.Jointly establishing cause-based Interact and Rotaract clubs dedicated to organ and tissue donation awareness.Jointly organising the National Transplant Games in Jaipur.At the conclusion of the meeting, Rotary Club Jaipur Royal honoured Rotarian Lal Goyal and Rotarian Lalit Sharma for their outstanding and selfless contributions to society.
