RIICO and Laghu Udyog Bharati ink MoU for StoneMart 2028 in the presence of industries ministers Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore and KK Bisnoi

Jaipur: Preparations for India Stonemart 2028 formally commenced Tuesday with the signing of the first memorandum of understanding (MoU) at the Constitution Club near the state legislative assembly.The biennial event, aimed at promoting Rajasthan’s stone industry in global markets, will be jointly organised by RIICO, the Centre for Development of Stones (CDOS) and Laghu Udyog Bharati.RIICO and CDOS signed the MoU with Laghu Udyog Bharati in the presence of industries and commerce minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore and minister of state K K Vishnoi.Rathore said the 2028 edition would be ‘grander than 2026’ and called for the participation of global architects, designers, innovators and manufacturers of modern machinery, while emphasising the use of artificial intelligence. He said partnerships with other countries could create new opportunities for Rajasthan’s stone industry.Laghu Udyog Bharati representative Prakash Chandra highlighted Rajasthan’s vast and diverse stone reserves and said that integrating new technologies could boost trade and increase revenue in the sector.
