Hyderabad: Chief minister A Revanth Reddy on Monday instructed planning department officials to submit a report on the implementation of the promises he made in every assembly constituency during his tours and govt programmes since assuming office. At a review meeting on the Praja Palana–Pragati Pranalika programme, conducted across the state between March 16 and June 12, he said the programme has brought the govt closer to the people. He also reviewed department-wise initiatives and the outcomes achieved till date. During the meeting, various departments submitted reports detailing the activities undertaken from the district level down to the village level as part of the programme.The CM commended departments that actively participated in the 99-day action plan and recalled his earlier directives to senior officials, from principal secretaries to the district collectors, to conduct field visits every month. He directed the chief secretary to submit a report identifying the officials and district collectors who failed to conduct field visits and to immediately seek an explanation from them as to why disciplinary action should not be initiated. He warned that officials who failed to comply with govt directives would face action.Stating that some departments had not adequately highlighted the initiatives launched under the ‘Praja Palana-Pragathi Pranalika’ programme, he asked all departments to make publicity about the work done under the initiative. Officials were instructed to record feedback received from public representatives and citizens during various programmes and ensure that issues raised in villages were addressed by the respective departments. He also directed that all development works undertaken, foundation stones laid, and assets created over the past three months be documented.Revanth asked panchayat raj officials to immediately prepare a list of villages that do not have gram panchayat buildings and formulate an action plan for constructing new ones. The meeting also reviewed the installation of solar power plants on school buildings, implementation of facial recognition system across the education and healthcare sectors, and attendance monitoring system for employees, ranging from schools and colleges to PHCs and major hospitals such as Osmania and Gandhi.The CM also directed officials to conduct district-wise reviews of the Praja Palana programme. He said a senior IAS officer should be appointed as a special officer for each district. These officers, in coordination with the respective district collectors, will review the special programmes conducted over the 99-day period, govt-led development works, and public feedback on various schemes.Officials were instructed to release district-wise progress reports and compile details of govt schemes, beneficiary list and development works undertaken by the govt at the district, constituency, mandal, and village levels. All the information should be made available on a dashboard, he further said.
