It all happened before R Madhavan, or Maddy, became a household name. They met for the first time in Kolhapur, when Madhavan was conducting personality development and communication classes, and Sarita was associated with those lectures through her cousin. They didn’t date till the time Sarita completed the course. After that, they started seeing each other and dated for around eight years before finally getting married in a traditional ceremony in 1999. Later, in 2005, they welcomed their son Vedaant Madhavan.
