T’puram: Registration for ‘Kalapila’, the unique summer camp organized by Kerala Arts and Crafts Village (KACV) in Kovalam has been opened. The camp is designed to immerse children in the authentic rural atmosphere of Kerala, where they can explore art and creativity firsthand. Core objective of ‘Kalapila’ is to bridge the gap between traditional heritage and modern innovation by allowing participants to study Kerala’s indigenous art forms and handicrafts under the guidance of master artisans.A standout feature of this year’s programme is the specialized robotics workshop, which highlights the harmony between ancient arts and contemporary technology.
