Freedom Habba, the state govt’s day-long Independence Day celebrations around Vidhana Soudha, will offer children and families an opportunity to visit the iconic seat of the legistature and grand assembly hall, and experience a range of cultural and educational activities on Aug 15. Those wishing to take part and visit Vidhana Soudha for the guided tour can register in advance through the QR code issued by the organisers. According to Greater Bengaluru Authority, the celebrations will be children-centric, with a makkala mela, interactive games, storytelling, arts and crafts, creative workshops. There will be a living museum of the freedom movement, Karnataka freedom path, Constitution Square, regional cuisine, etc.
