The duo’s much-anticipated charm and chemistry in the yet to release ‘Cocktail 2’ had fans buzzing with excitement. However, latest updates reveal that Rashmika Mandanna is not a part of the project.

According to Bollywood Hungama, Rashmika Mandanna is not a part of the project at all. Amit Sharma is just in talks with Shahid Kapoor.

Meanwhile, Rashmika Mandanna is in news currently with wedding buzz surrounding her and actor Vijay Deverakonda. Reports claim the couple is set to tie the knot on February 26 this year. Though the venue remains under wraps, sources point to a destination wedding in Udaipur, followed by a reception in Hyderabad on March 4.

Earlier reports have suggested that Mandanna and Deverakonda got engaged during a private ceremony in Hyderabad last October. The couple neither confirmed nor denied the news at events they attended thereafter. Vijay was spotted supporting and cheering for Rashmika at the success bash for her film ‘The Girlfriend’, including a viral moment where he kissed her hand.
Shahid Kapoor latest hit
On the other hand, Shahid Kapoor is courting applause for his work in the latest released ‘O’ Remeo’. It also stars Triptii Dimri, Vikrant Massey, Tamannaah Bhatia, Avinash Tiwary, Disha Patani, Farida Jalal and Nana Patekar, among many others.
