Chennai: Ramco Systems has entered the market for agentic enterprise artificial intelligence with the launch of a conversational platform, as part of its broader efforts to build an AI-driven task automation stack. Abinav Raja, managing director of the company, said the product will be offered to the company’s existing base as well as industries with large customer support volumes such as BFSI, telecom, retail and e-commerce, targeting both cost reduction and revenue enhancement. The company said the platform can autonomously execute complex workflows and will be priced based on resolutions rather than token usage or seat-based subscriptions. “It can execute multi-step actions across backend enterprise systems and operates within pre-defined standard operating procedures, approvals and compliance guardrails and with human intervention,” he said. Pricing will still factor in large-language-model token consumption and operating expenses, with the company aiming to stay competitive while protecting margins. Ramco sees the tool contributing not just to lower service costs but also to higher sales through product discovery and cross-selling. Ramco shifted to a SaaS-led recurring revenue model over the past few years, moving away from one-time licences and annual maintenance contracts. Recurring revenue now contributes about 58% of its overall mix. “We are confident that this should help and aid the company’s growth as well. It is the beginning of a broader roadmap, with many more AI native products planned across portfolio. This launch is part of our effort to transform our entire platform to be AI-native, embedding agentic intelligence into every product we build,” Raja said.
