Madikeri: Kodagu Suraksha Andolana Samiti organised a public awareness procession in Madikeri on Friday, concluding its district-wide rally demanding the deportation of illegal Bangladeshi migrants. The committee demanded that govt constitute a special task force to confiscate Aadhaar cards, voter identity cards, ration cards, PAN cards, driving licences, bank accounts and illegally acquired assets allegedly held by numerous illegal Bangladeshi migrants in Kodagu and Karnataka. They said illegal migrants should not receive benefits under schemes funded by Indian taxpayers and demanded their immediate deportation.
