Rakhi Sawant, who has been using the name Rakhi Fatima, found herself in a chaotic situation during a visit to Mecca, Saudi Arabia, where she had gone to pray for those affected by the devastating floods in Nepal. Now, videos from her visit have surfaced on the internet.
Rakhi Sawant gets mobbed while distributing prayer mats
In a video shared on Instagram, Rakhi Sawant was seen distributing prayer mats among pilgrims at the holy shrine. What started as a thoughtful gesture soon spiralled into a tense situation, as several people rushed towards her to collect the mats.Rakhi could be heard chanting, “Allah Hu Akbar,” as she tried to distribute the mats peacefully. However, the crowd surged towards her, and things quickly got out of hand. At one point, some people were seen pulling her hijab. “Please don’t fight,” Rakhi told them as she attempted to make her way through the crowd.
Rakhi Sawant prays for Nepal flood victims
During her visit, Rakhi also offered prayers near the Holy Kaaba for those affected by the floods in Nepal, praying for the safety of children, the elderly, and others stranded in the flood-hit region.In a video, she said, “Main dua karti hoon, Allah, Nepal mein jo baadh aayi hai, jo toofan aaya hai, woh ruk jaye. Wahan ke bachche, boodhe aur jaanwar sab bachaye jayein. Jo Indians aur Nepalis phase hain, woh sab sahi-salamat rahein, Allah,” which translates to a prayer for the floods and storms in Nepal to end, and for the safety of children, elderly people, animals, and all Indians and Nepalis stranded in the affected areas.

On the professional front, Rakhi Sawant is set to return to Samay Raina’s ‘India’s Got Latent’ Season 2, where she is expected to appear as a panellist in an upcoming episode.
