Among all states, Bihar attracted the most attention, with five Rajya Sabha seats up for grabs.
Several prominent leaders secured victory, including Nitish Kumar, Ram Nath Thakur, Nitin Nabin and Shivesh Kumar.
However, the fifth seat turned into a contest between Upendra Kushwaha and Amarendra Dhari Singh, keeping political observers closely watching the outcome.

In West Bengal, nominees of the All India Trinamool Congress secured several seats. The winners included Babul Supriyo, former state police chief Rajeev Kumar, senior Supreme Court advocate Menaka Guruswamy and actor Koel Mallick. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) also secured a seat with Rahul Sinha.

From Telangana, senior Congress leader Abhishek Manu Singhvi and Vem Narender Reddy were elected to the Upper House.

Apart from the state-level results, several well-known leaders also secured seats during the election cycle. These include Sharad Pawar, Vinod Tawde, Tiruchi Siva and Ramdas Athawale.

With a large number of candidates winning unopposed, the biennial Rajya Sabha elections largely unfolded without dramatic contests. Only a few states witnessed voting, while in most others the political math was settled well before ballot papers were issued.
