Chennai: Murugappa Group has appointed Rajive Kumaraswami as the new managing director of Cholamandalam MS General Insurance Company (Chola MS). He will succeed V Suryanarayanan, who will retire from the company on May 31, 2026. The board has appointed Kumaraswami as managing director designate with effect from April 22, the company said in a statement here on Friday. He will take over the position on June 1, 2026. With more than three decades of experience across insurance and banking, Kumaraswami most recently served as the managing director and CEO of Magma General Insurance Company, it added.
