Jaipur: The Rajasthan govt Friday transferred 64 IPS officers, carrying out significant changes in the Jaipur police commissionerate and several district postings.Under the reshuffle, DIG Ajay Singh was appointed Additional Commissioner of Police (Crime) in Jaipur, replacing Manish Agarwal, who was shifted to the intelligence wing of the Rajasthan Police at the police headquarters.Among other changes in the commissionerate, Ranjita Sharma was posted as DCP (East), replacing Sanjeev Nain, who was appointed SP Jaipur (Rural), while Prashant Kiran was posted as DCP (West).Hanuman Prasad Meena was shifted as DCP (Crime), and Nishchay Prasad M was posted as DCP (Traffic) in the Jaipur commissionerate.The order also reassigned several district police chiefs.Narendra Singh was posted as SP Barmer, Mridul Kachawa as SP Bikaner, Amrita Duhan as SP Udaipur, Roshan Meena as SP Nagaur, and Harsh Vardhan Agarwala as SP Ajmer.Similarly, Sudheer Joshi was shifted from Banswara to Jhunjhunu, while Yogesh Goyal was moved from Udaipur to the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB).Narendra Singh Meena was transferred from Barmer to Hanumangarh as SP.Piyush Dixit was appointed SP Karauli, Pushpendra Singh Rathore was posted as SP Sirohi, and Kamal Shekhawat was appointed DCP (West) in Jodhpur.Avnish Kumar Sharma was appointed SP Bundi, while Brijesh Jyoti Upadhya was shifted from Jhunjhunu to Bhiwadi.
