Jaipur: Rajasthan Industrial Park Incentive Policy 2026, approved by the state cabinet Wednesday, aims to integrate private developers to expand industrial infrastructure, promote private investment, and generate large-scale employment across the state.Under the new policy, four development models were introduced for setting up industrial parks. Under the first model, the parks will be developed on land allotted by the Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation (RIICO).In the second instance, the developer is required to acquire 80% of the land, while the remaining 20% will be allotted by RIICO at prescribed rates. The third model enables developers to arrange the entire land independently, while the fourth option proposes development of industrial areas under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model.Shikhar Agrawal, ACS (Industry) and chairman of RIICO, said, “Through this policy, state wants to harness the potential of the private players in augmenting industrial infrastructure. RIICO would also play active role in encouraging the private sector. The whole thrust is to combine the power of both government and private sector for deepening industrial ecosystem in the state.”The policy mandates a minimum of 50 acres of land and at least 10 industrial units for setting up a private industrial park. The state govt also announced capital subsidies for common infrastructure development. Parks up to 100 acres will be eligible for a maximum subsidy of Rs 20 crore, those between 100 and 250 acres up to Rs 30 crore, and parks above 250 acres up to Rs 40 crore. In addition, green and environmental incentives of up to Rs 12.5 crore per park will be provided, according to the policy. Other concessions include exemptions in stamp duty and land conversion charges, along with rebates in electricity duty for renewable energy usage. The govt will also provide financial assistance of up to Rs 3 crore for the construction of approach roads to industrial parks.A RIICO official said that applications and approvals under the policy will be processed through the RajNivesh portal, while the corporation was designated as the nodal agency for implementation.
