Jaipur: The Rajasthan govt will soon issue an advertisement for recruitment to 600 Medical Officer posts, following approval from Health and Medical Education Minister Gajendra Singh Khimsar.Khimsar said Monday that the recruitment aims to strengthen healthcare services and ensure adequate medical staff at govt health institutions, particularly in rural and remote areas.He said the state is expediting the process of filling vacant posts across cadres, including doctors, to ensure timely, high-quality healthcare.Khimsar said the fresh recruitment will improve doctor availability in govt medical institutions and help ensure better, faster treatment under the state’s “Niramay Rajasthan” vision.According to the minister, recruitment and appointment processes for 39,288 posts in the medical and health department have been completed. These include 208 medical officer (Dental) posts, 1,699 medical officer posts and 19,240 non-gazetted posts.Appointments have been made in the medical education cadre, including assistant professor posts, while 18,126 appointments have been completed under the National Health Mission.
