Jaipur: In view of the prevailing situation in West Asia and the Gulf region, Rajasthan Foundation mobilised its global network to assist citizens affected by the emerging crisis.Chapters in the United Arab Emirates, including Dubai, as well as those in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait and Oman, are actively working to ensure the safety, guidance and necessary support for Rajasthanis residing or stranded in these countries, the department said here in a release.It assisted nearly 100 Rajasthani citizens from Bengaluru who travelled to Abu Dhabi for a function, in their safe return to India through coordinated efforts of the Dubai chapter.Social organisations such as the Jain International Trade Organization (JITO) and the Marwari Yuva Manch also activated their international branches to provide accommodation, food, advisory services and emergency assistance.Information regarding alternative travel routes, visa procedures and updates from control rooms set up by the govt of India is regularly disseminated to prevent confusion and ensure timely guidance for expatriates.Manisha Arora said the foundation remains in constant coordination with its international chapters and Indian missions abroad, and that the safety of every expatriate Rajasthani remains the state govt’s top priority. tnn
