Chandigarh: Rain brought relief from the recent warm weather in Chandigarh on Saturday, making the day pleasant and the evening cooler. The weather is expected to remain comfortable on Sunday as well.The Chandigarh weather observatory recorded a maximum temperature of 32 degrees Celsius, which is normal for this time of the year. Over the past few days, the maximum temperature remained around three degrees below normal.The rain on Saturday brought a change in conditions, particularly in the second half of the day. Rainfall began around 4pm and continued intermittently.Minimum temperature was 26 degrees Celsius, three degrees below normal.According to the Meteorological Centre, Chandigarh, the city received 3.8mm rain during the day.The weather department has forecast partly cloudy skies with the possibility of thunderstorms and light rain on Sunday, Sept 27. Maximum temperature is expected to be around 30 degrees Celsius, while the minimum is likely to remain around 24 degrees Celsius.The forecast indicates relatively comfortable weather over the next few days. Maximum temperature is expected to be around 29 degrees Celsius on Sept 28, before rising gradually to 31 degrees Celsius on Sept 29 and 33 degrees Celsius on Sept 30.
