Pune: Leader of opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi will interact with girl students on women’s safety, examination paper leak and lack of employment opportunities during his visit to the city on Saturday as a part of Congress party’s “Chhatron ki Goonj” initiative.Senior members of the state Congress have been camping in the city ahead of Rahul’s visit to create a buzz, particularly among youths, about the event through musical performances, bike rallies and interaction with students on campuses. Former minister Satej Patil on Wednesday said the party was expecting thousands of girl students at Rahul’s event at AISSMS College of Engineering ground on Saturday.“The party is carrying out a registration drive before Rahul’s visit and getting a good response. We are expecting a large number of girls students to turn up at the event where Rahul will interact with them on various issues,” Patil said.The Pune police have issued a letter of permission to Congress to hold the event at AISSMS college ground with a gathering of of 8,000 to 10,000 people.
