Jaipur: The R League A Division Football League, jointly organized by the Rajasthan Football Association (RFA) and Poornima University, saw impressive performances from the players in the matches played here on Sunday.In the final match of the day, Sunrise Football Club drubbed Jerthi Football Club 11-2 to register a one-sided victory. Sunrise’s Mukesh displayed excellent performance, scoring five goals.Mukesh gave the team the lead by opening the account in the very first minute of the match. After this, he scored four goals consecutively in the 17th, 21st and 31st minutes. Sufian scored two goals in the 34th and 36th minutes to give the team a 6-0 lead at half time.In the second half, Ashish (52nd minute), Kushagraraj (61st minute), Pratik (85th minute), Mukesh (86th minute) and Bhupendra Singh (90th minute) scored a goal each to boost the tally. Devraj (75th minute) and Farhan (83rd minute) reduced the margin for Jerthi.Earlier, in the first match, Jaipur City Football Club defeated Brother United 4-1. Jaipur City’s Mahipat Singh scored three goals to give the team a strong start, while Ashish added one. Vijay Choudhary scored the only goal for Brother United.In the second match, Zinc Football Academy blanked Rihaan Football Club 4-0. Karan scored two goals for Zinc Football Academy, while Sandeep and Riyaz each scored one goal to ensure the team’s victory.According to Rajasthan Football Association secretary Dilip Singh Shekhawat, a total of 42 matches will be played in the league, which began on March 20. Three more matches will be played on April 1 as part of the competition.
