Jaipur: Although Rajasthan Royals lost Sanju Samson, they got two of the best all-rounders in the form of Ravindra Jadeja and Sam Curran, providing a much better balance to the side.“Yes, both Jadeja and Curran are quality allrounders with vast experience behind them. They both have done well in the recent past. The duo not only gives us the right balance, they also provide us added advantage with their versatility,” Sangakkara said here on Thursday.RR’s director of cricket hopes the addition of Jadeja, Curran along with Donovan Ferreira, will help the team close out tough matches. Sangakkara has backed Riyan Parag to come good and live up to the expectations of the team management. The former Sri Lankan legend said he has always admired Riyan as a cricketer.“It was about trying to find the best person who can lead the Rajasthan Royals. I first met Riyan when he was a teenager and have admired him as a cricketer. He’s right when he says he has gone through a lot and seen a lot,” Sangakkara said.“The most striking thing for me was to see how reflective and mature he has become. We had shortlisted some candidates that we had a very strict interview process for. Riyan knows the questions were hard. At the end of the day Manoj Badale and I sat down and it was evident that the right choice to lead Rajasthan was Riyan,” he added.
