Jaipur: A private school in Vidhyadhar Nagar was evacuated Monday morning after receiving a bomb threat via email. The message, sent to the school’s official ID at 12.25 am, claimed the sender had explosives strapped to their body and intended to become a martyr.After the school administration discovered the email around 9.15am and alerted police, 3,500 students were evacuated from the building within 30 minutes. Police teams from multiple stations, along with bomb disposal and dog squads, reached the scene and conducted a thorough search. No suspicious objects were found.SHO Rakesh Khyalya said the threat email warned of an imminent blast on the school premises. A cyber cell team is now tracing the origin of the message. he said.Some parents said they were told the evacuation was due to a short circuit. Despite the scare, supplementary exams school continued, as they could not be rescheduled.
