Mangaluru: Srikanth Shetty Karkala, zonal executive committee member of the Hindu Jagarana Vedike (HJV), urged the police to withdraw the case registered against the owners of the digital service centre in Darbe, Puttur. He spoke at the ‘Puttur Chalo’ awareness meeting held in Puttur on Monday, led by the HJV, VHP, and Bajrang Dal, in association with the BJP and other organisations, putting forth various demands regarding the Darbe incident.Hindu activists are ready to protest against the injustice done to the Hindu society in the district, he said. HJV Puttur region coordinator Mohandas Kaniyoor said the Hindu society is always ready to ensure justice for Hindus. Stating that Hindus have not received justice, he said the protest will continue until Hindus get justice.VHP Puttur region president Krishna Prasanna, Bajrang Dal Mangaluru division coordinator Puneeth Attavar, MLAs Bhagirathi Murulya, Rajesh Naik, Y Bharath Shetty, Harish Poonja, MLC Kishore Kumar Puttur, former minister S Angara, former MLA Sanjeeva Matandoor, BJP district president Sathish Kumpala, and others were present.
