Mohali: Punjab FC have appointed Greek tactician Pavlos Dermitzakis as their head coach on a two-year contract ahead of the 2026-27 season.The 57-year-old joins from Greek club Panionios FC and brings over two decades of coaching experience, including stints with top-flight clubs such as PAOK, Asteras Tripolis and OFI Crete. He also led Panserraikos FC to promotion to the Greek Super League in 2022-23.Speaking after taking charge, Dermitzakis said Punjab FC’s long-term vision and focus on developing young Indian players attracted him to the club. “I am excited to get started with the team,” he said.
