Chandigarh: The Punjab and Haryana high court on Wednesday received yet another bomb threat via email, warning that an explosive would be planted near Court No. 1 close to the police post. Following the alert, the anti-bomb disposal squad, anti-sabotage team, QRT, dog squad, fire tenders and ambulances were rushed to the high court.Police carried out a two-hour search till 9pm but found nothing. Efforts are now underway to trace the sender’s IP address. The high court had received a similar threat email on May 22, 2025, which led to the evacuation of the courtroom and lawyers’ chambers. No explosive was found then either.
