Nagpur: A 35-year-old female engineering assistant at a govt office accused a 50-year-old property broker of sexually harassing her at the workplace.The complainant alleged that Sunil Meshram, of Teka Naka, routinely visits her office for work and has been intimidating female staff with objectionable hand gestures.As per the complaint, on the day of the incident Meshram approached an employee seeking documents for a plot. When the complainant told him that the work did not concern her, he allegedly moved behind the chair, placed his hand on it and later touched her shoulder while remarking that she looked “very beautiful.” The woman said she felt deeply ashamed and scared.Sadar police registered a case against Meshram under relevant sections of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and started an investigation. No arrest has been made yet.
