Srinagar, Jun 23: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has assigned Prof. (Dr.) Rukhsana Najeeb, Professor, Department of Anesthesiology, Government Medical College (GMC) Srinagar, the charge of Secretary (Technical), Health and Medical Education Department with immediate effect.
According to Government Order No. 506-JK (HME) of 2026, issued by the Health and Medical Education Department on June 23, the arrangement has been made in the interest of administration and will remain in force until further orders.
The order clarifies that the assignment of charge shall not confer any right on the officer to claim regular appointment, seniority, promotion, or any other service benefits attached to the post, which will continue to be governed by the relevant rules and regulations.
