Bengaluru: The high court Monday refused to interfere with the investigation against a Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIAL) staffer accused of sexually harassing a South Korean woman passenger at Kempegowda International Airport.Justice M Nagaprasanna dismissed a petition filed by Mohammed Affan Ahmed, a 25-year-old ground staffer who had challenged the FIR registered by BIAL police.“At immigration, you made a South Korean woman stand in a T position and touched her. Tell me, should you be spared?” the judge asked during the hearing.Referring to the complaint, the court said the woman had detailed the alleged acts. “Why did you take her to the gents’ toilet? The justification is that the ladies’ toilet was occupied. You take her to the gents’ toilet, make her stand in T position and touch her. What sort of an officer are you?” the judge asked before dismissing the petition.Ahmed had sought quashing of the FIR and proceedings pending before the JMFC court in Devanahalli.
