Udupi: A private bus caught fire at Uppoor under the jurisdiction of Brahmavar police station on Thursday.According to police, the bus was travelling from Udupi to Sagar, when its crew noticed something was amiss. They parked the vehicle, asked the passengers to alight and shifted them to another bus. There were around four to five passengers on board. Within five minutes, the bus was completely engulfed in flames. No casualties were reported. The exact cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained. Brahmavar police are investigating the incident.
