Gandhinagar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be in Gujarat on Tuesday, and inaugurate Kaynes Semicon’s outsourced semiconductor assembly and test (OSAT) facility at Sanand, and the ‘Samrat Samprati Museum’ at the Shri Mahavir Jain Aradhana Kendra in Koba. He will also unveiling several development projects at an event in Vav-Tharad district of North Gujarat.An official statement said the PM will address a gathering at the newly built ‘Samrat Samprati Museum’. The museum houses rare artefacts, ancient manuscripts, and sculptures spread across seven galleries.The PM will then inaugurate the Kaynes Semicon’s OSAT facility at Sanand, which has been set up at an estimated cost of Rs 3,300 crore. The facility will undertake chip packaging and testing, and is expected to produce around 60 lakh chips per day.At Vav-Tharad, the PM will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for development projects worth over Rs 19,800 crore. Of these, projects worth Rs 10,900 crore come under the departments of power, road transport and highways, and railways.In addition, projects worth Rs 8,886 crore of the state urban development department, water resources, roads and buildings, health and family welfare, tourism, and tribal development departments will also be inaugurated and initiated. Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural), the PM will virtually hand over 38,949 homes to beneficiaries across 34 districts in Gujarat.
