Now, as she begins promoting her fifth and final release of the year, Hathaway is making the most of her last few public appearances before taking a much-needed break.And she’s doing it in style.Hathaway, who is pregnant with her third child with husband Adam Shulman, stepped out in New York City for the beginning of her Verity press tour. Her latest look was all about rich velvet, soft draping and a little sparkle, with the outfit fitting neatly around her growing bump.

Styled by Erin Walsh, Hathaway wore a custom Alémais co-ord in a deep teal velvet. The pregnancy-friendly outfit featured a halter-style top with a cowl neckline and matching bottoms, creating an easy, flowing silhouette around her bump.But the detailing is what really caught the eye.The blue-green velvet was decorated with butter-yellow beaded and fringed floral appliqués. The bright floral work stood out against the rich teal and also echoed the colours seen on the cover of Colleen Hoover’s Verity, giving the promotional look a subtle connection to the film.Hathaway kept the rest of the styling polished without going overboard. She carried a crystal-adorned Bulgari bag and added oversized sunglasses, gold hoop earrings and black buckled sandals with embellished block heels.Her beauty look was much simpler. Hathaway has had quite the year
The actor’s packed schedule began with Mother Mary, which released on April 17, followed by The Devil Wears Prada 2 on May 1.The Odysseys arrived on July 17, while The End of Oak Street was released on August 14. With Verity now lined up for October 2, Hathaway has had a remarkably busy run of releases in a single year.But once the Verity promotions are done, she plans to step away for a while.Hathaway has said she intends to take a long break after spending around three and a half years working on films back-to-back. With a baby on the way, the actor appears ready to trade packed schedules and red carpets for some downtime.

In Verity, Hathaway takes on the role of bestselling author Verity Crawford in the screen adaptation of Hoover’s thriller.Directed by Michael Showalter, the film also stars Dakota Johnson and Josh Hartnett. The trailer suggests a dark psychological thriller with an erotic edge, marking another intense role for Hathaway.The film is the latest adaptation of a Hoover novel to reach theatres, following It Ends with Us in 2024, Regretting You in 2025 and Reminders of Him in 2026.Verity is scheduled to hit theatres on October 2, with Prime Video expected to carry the film after its theatrical run.
