Prayagraj: The results of the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) and Indian School Certificate (ISC) examinations declared on Thursday brought cheer across the Sangam city as several schools reported outstanding performances with high pass percentages and multiple students scoring above 90%.Saint Joseph College once again delivered an exceptional academic performance. In Class XII, Nishkarsh Gupta emerged as the science stream topper with an impressive 99.25%, possibly one of the highest in the city.He was followed by Aawahan Kushwaha with 98.25%, while Shubhankar Ghosh and Kaustubh Tripathi secured 98.25% and 98%, respectively.In the commerce stream, Kavya Jaiswal topped with 97.50%, followed by Shreyansh Ajai Shukla (96%) and Aryan Gupta (95.25%). In humanities, Shourya Dwivedi scored 97.75%, with Shikhar Awasthi and Sarvagya Pathak jointly securing second place with 97.25%.The school principal, Walter D’Silva, informed that 57 students scored above 90% in Class XII.In Class X, Vedant Das topped with 99%, followed by Pranjal Pandey and Yasharth Pratap Singh (98.80%), while Divit Pareek and Rizwan Rahamaan secured third place with 98.60%.Girls’ High School also recorded remarkable results, achieving a 100% pass percentage in ICSE and 99.7% in ISC.Lakshita Kushwaha topped Class X with 99.2%, which was also one of the top scores in the city. She was followed by Sara Khan (98.6%) and Aaradhya Rathore (98%). In Class XII, Arya Singh and Sharanya Srivastava jointly topped with 98%.At Bishop Gorge, the overall Class XII result stood at 98%, with Ashish Dwivedi leading science (92%), Ashish Chopra in commerce (96%) and Shambhu Khan in humanities (80%). In Class X, Ravi Yadav topped with 93%, while the overall pass percentage was 95%, as informed by principal Shameen Zahra Rizvi.St John’s Academy also showcased strong results. In Class X, 138 students appeared, with 27 scoring above 90%. Kavyansh Thakur topped with 98.4%, followed by Arush Singh (97.6%). In Class XII, out of 87 students, 18 scored above 90%. Asmita Verma topped science with 97.25%, Anuj Agarwal led commerce with 97.5%, and Muskan Chaurasia topped humanities with 97%.
