Nagpur: Power supply in parts of Ganeshpeth and Civil Lines will be suspended for 2–4 hours on Saturday and Sunday due to essential maintenance and infrastructure work. Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) officials said the shutdown is a precautionary measure ahead of Ram Navami.In Ganeshpeth, power will be off for 4 hours on Saturday from 8am to 12noon. The outage will support underground cable-laying work by the Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) between Central Bus Stand Square and Model Mill Square, as well as maintenance on the 11 kV Ganeshpeth feeder.

Affected areas include Jadhav Chowk, Ganeshpeth ESIC area, Rahul Residency, Ganeshpeth, Gadikhana, Colonel Bagh, Ramaji Wadi, Model Mill Chowk, Ram Cooler Chowk, Navi Shukrawari, Mutton Market, Shirke Road, Jog Galli, Bhutia Darwaza, and Dasara Road.In Civil Lines, power will be off for 2 hours on Saturday and Sunday from 7am to 9am for maintenance on the 11 kV Dinshaw’s, Wadi, Gorewada, and Pallotti feeders. Areas likely to be affected include Manjidana Colony, CPWD Colony, Gittikhadan Police Station, Gokul Society, Prashant Colony, Mete Layout, Ekta Nagar, Barde Layout, Bhupesh Nagar, Shiv Kunj, Niwara Society, Shiv Residency, Gorewada Vasti, Suman Nagar, Nirmal Nagar, Abdul Hamid Nagar, Creative Home, Natraj Society, Suraj Nagar, Pallotti Nagar, KGN Society, Mahesh Nagar, and Chaudhary Layout.
