Kanpur: The Postal Department, Kanpur, will organise a competition for students of Classes VI to IX to promote philately and research among schoolchildren in Kanpur Postal Circle.The competition will be held under the Deen Dayal SPARSH Scholarship Scheme. Ten students will be selected from each class and each winner will receive Rs 500 per month, amounting to Rs 6,000 for one year.Interested students can obtain application forms from Philately Bureau on second floor of the General Post Office (GPO). The last date for submission of applications is September 4.
