Ponda: Kushta Audumber Naique, 55, of Ghodkire Wada, Kunkoliem-Mardol, died of electrocution at his kulaagar late Sunday afternoon.Mardol police said Naique had climbed a betel nut palm using a metal ladder to repair a light along a footpath in his farm. While carrying out the work, he accidentally came into contact with a live wire, suffered an electric shock and fell unconscious.He was rushed to the Sub-District Hospital, Ponda, where the medical officer declared him brought dead.Naique is survived by his wife and three children.
