Kanpur: With an expected surge in devotees on the occasion of the upcoming Mahashivratri festival, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Central) Atul Kumar Srivastava along with the Sub-Divisional Officer inspected preparations at Anandeshwar (Paramat) temple complex under Gwaltoli police station area on Saturday.During the inspection, the officers conducted a detailed review of the temple premises, ghats, approach routes and other sensitive locations. A foot patrol was also carried out to assess security arrangements, including barricading, functionality of CCTV cameras, lighting, cleanliness, traffic management and crowd control measures. The officials issued necessary directions to ensure the safety of devotees, smooth movement and well-organised darshan arrangements. Special emphasis was laid on preparedness for emergency situations, security of women devotees, parking facilities, traffic diversions and continuous surveillance. ADCP (Central), ADCP (Local Intelligence Unit), ACP arnalganj, officials from municipal corporation and KESCO, representatives and sevaks of the Shri Anandeshwar (Paramat) temple management, the local councillor and other concerned officials were present during the inspection.
