Navi Mumbai: A highway safety patrol team under the guidance of an assistant police inspector saved the life of a Pune youth, Sanjay Dandavate (23), who attempted to die by suicide on the Borghat stretch of the Mumbai-Pune Expressway.He was making a live-stream video on Instagram while driving an SUV on the Pune-bound carriageway while the HSP personnel were positioned on the long stretch to catch him. The team waited for over an hour at night on Saturday to stop the SUV near Amrutanjan bridge.One of Dandavate’s friends had alerted the Mumbai police through 112 after learning about the incident.
