A former Police Scotland officer has been convicted of a catalogue of sex crimes, including two counts of rape, over a 17-year period.
Campbell Petrie was found guilty of nine charges at the High Court in Glasgow which took place between 2006 and 2023.
Petrie, 50, was a serving officer at the time of the offences, which included indecent assault, assault with intent to rape and assault to injury and danger of life.
The force confirmed he was arrested, charged and suspended from duty in December 2023. He retired from the force in December last year.
Petrie was remanded in custody and is due to be sentenced next month.
