Vadodara: The city police on Friday destroyed more than 80,000 liquor bottles worth over Rs 2.91 crore that had been seized from various areas over the past few months.The liquor stock was confiscated from areas falling under the jurisdiction of the Harni, Bapod, Sama and Karelibaug police stations.Following court orders, the seized liquor bottles were laid out in an open ground and crushed using a bulldozer.Police said they seize large quantities of liquor from different parts of the city and the confiscated stock is destroyed after obtaining the necessary court orders.
