Pivot Path Pvt Ltd, formerly the Arco Lab Global Capability Centre (GCC) of Strides Pharma Science Ltd, has demerged into an independent pharmaceutical operations and technology company after securing ₹100 crore in funding from Ascent Capital Advisors and co-investor Vintage Classic.

The demerger, approved by the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) in May 2026, formalises the transformation of Arco Lab from Strides Pharma’s centralised GCC into an independent pharmaceutical operations and innovation platform.

“Pivot Path, the demerged entity of Arcolab, is entering a defining new chapter, one that accelerates our vision of shaping the next generation of life sciences through the convergence of deep domain expertise and intelligent technology,” said Shashidhar KL, CEO, Pivot Path.

According to the company’s statement, the investment values Pivot Path at ₹230 crore and includes ₹50 crore in primary capital, which will be used for technology development and global expansion.

Pivot Path also announced plans to establish a dedicated European office to support multinational pharmaceutical manufacturers operating in regulated European markets. According to the company, the expansion aims to strengthen local regulatory expertise while maintaining global operational standards.

For FY26, Pivot Path reported revenue of ₹147 crore with EBITDA profitability. The company said it serves more than 70 pharmaceutical and life sciences clients across Asia, Europe, North America and other regions, and has executed over 1,000 pharmaceutical operations projects.

Pivot Path provides pharmaceutical operations services spanning compliance automation and digital transformation.

Established seven years ago in Bengaluru, Arco Lab has evolved from a centralised operations centre into a pharmaceutical operations platform focused on compliance automation, digital transformation, quality management and patient safety for pharmaceutical and life sciences companies globally.
