Rajkot: A 55-year-old disabled man was killed after being struck by a speeding SUV on Raiya Road on Tuesday.The victim, Bhaga Parmar, was walking along the road when he was hit by a Fortuner, sustaining critical injuries. He was rushed to Civil Hospital in Rajkot, where he succumbed. Police said Parmar sustained himself through begging.The complaint was lodged by his brother, Ashok (40), a labourer, at the University police station against the unidentified driver.Police have registered a case under relevant sections of BNS and Motor Vehicles Act.
