Jaipur: The Jaipur Municipal Corporation (JMC) will organise a special registration camp for pet dogs and cats at IDB, Durgapura, Sunday. Pet owners will be able to complete the registration process on the spot by submitting required documents and bringing along their pets. JMC has launched an awareness drive that will continue until Sept 30. After that, officials will begin strict enforcement against unregistered pets. Owners found keeping unregistered dogs or cats could face a fine of up to Rs 5,000, and their pets may also be seized under the rules.JMC has launched an awareness drive that will continue until Sept 30. He urged all pet owners to complete the process before the deadline to avoid action. To register, owners must bring their pet, a passport-sized photograph, the latest vaccination card and an Aadhaar card or another valid identity proof.
