Chennai: A week after an underage biker hit a pedestrian on 100 Feet Road in Velachery, killing him, police arrested the person who lent the boy the motorcycle.On March 7, a Class XII student rode a motorcycle and hit a 58-year-old who was crossing the road. The pedestrian suffered severe injuries and died in the hospital. The boy also sustained injuries. Investigation revealed that the bike was given to the minor by Venkatesan, 44, father of the boy’s friend. Police arrested Venkatesan for abetting the crime and remanded him in judicial custody. TNN
