Hazaribag: Deputy commissioner Shashi Prakash Singh and SP Anjani Anjan on Wednesday chaired a district level peace committee meeting ahead of Muharram, which is due to observed later this week. Singh also asked police personnel to maintain law and order at the fair, which will be held at Chhadwa Dam. SP asked the public to not post any provocative messages on songs on social media and said DJ music will be banned. Processions will move only through designated routes. SP said additional forces would be deployed in sensitive areas and the police will conduct flag marches across the district. “Drone camers will watch over processions,” Anjan said after the meeting.
