Srinagar, Aug 30: PDP Constituency In-Charge Lal Chowk and spokesperson Zuhaib Yousuf Mir interacted with a group of educated young women from Balhama, discussing their aspirations, challenges, education and future prospects.
During the interaction, Mir appreciated the confidence, awareness and clarity of thought displayed by the participants. He said the younger generation, while remaining deeply connected to Kashmir’s values and cultural heritage, is increasingly demonstrating a progressive outlook and a strong desire to contribute meaningfully to society.
The young women shared their views and concerns regarding education, career opportunities and the challenges they encounter in their personal and professional journeys. Mir listened to their perspectives and emphasised the importance of creating meaningful platforms where young people can freely express their ideas and participate in discussions concerning their future.
“The confidence, awareness and clarity of thought among these young women is truly inspiring. Their perspectives deserve to be heard, and their aspirations must be supported. Meaningful dialogue with our youth is essential to building an inclusive and progressive society,” Mir said.
He said continued engagement with young people was necessary to understand their changing aspirations and ensure that their concerns received adequate space in public discourse.
