Hanumakonda: Actor Konidela Pawan Kalyan’s fan, 17-year-old Ch Niranjan, passed away on Wednesday morning. He was suffering with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD). He revealed to his parents that his last wish was to see his hero, Pawan Kalyan, in person. When the information reached the Jana Sena Party president and Andhra Pradesh deputy chief minister’s office, Pawan Kalyan responded immediately and visited Hanumakonda city and met Niranjan on June 17. He assured that he would personally bear the ongoing medical expenses of Niranjan and provide financial support to his parents. He also arranged a canteen to be set up to help Niranjan’s family.Within 20 days, the boy passed away, leaving his parents Ramgopal and Manasa in an inconsolable state.A tweet posted on ‘X’ by Pawan Kalyan said: “The news that Niranjan is no more has deeply shaken my heart. The moments from just a few days ago when I visited Niranjan’s home in Hanumakonda and met him are still vividly alive in mind.”During his earlier visit to Niranjan’s home, Pawan Kalyan had brought him prasadam from TTD. “That little one, who waited for me despite battling severe illness… the tiny smile that bloomed on his face the moment he saw me… all of these will remain forever as unforgettable memories. Even as his body fought the disease, his mind stood firm with immense courage,” said Pawan.“I extend my deepest condolences to Niranjan’s family members. I pray that God grant them the strength bear this irreparable sorrow. Dear Niranjan…the smile you showed, the courage, the love shared will remain in my heart forever. I pray to God that your soul attains peace,” added the AP deputy CM.Bollywood actor Sonu Sood also consoled Niranjan’s parents through a video call. He assured the family that they could contact him at any time if they needed assistance.
