Ahmedabad: The city experienced a maximum temperature of 33.6 degrees celsius on Monday, 1.6 degrees lower than normal. At 25.1 degrees celsius, the minimum temperature was 0.7 degree higher than normal. Relative humidity (RH) in the city was between 53% and 74% during the day, according to India Meteorological Department (IMD).Partly cloudy conditions persisted over the city, keeping temperatures in check and providing some relief from the heat. The cloud cover also brought a noticeable change from the hotter conditions witnessed in recent days.According to the forecast, similar weather conditions are likely to continue on Tuesday, with no major rise in temperatures expected.The line of withdrawal of the southwest monsoon remained at Deesa and Naliya. The IMD forecast indicates chances of light rain in parts of Gujarat on Wednesday and Thursday, which could bring further relief from the prevailing warmth.
